Electrician – Maintenance & Installations (Permanent)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Electrician to join our team delivering high‑quality electrical maintenance, repairs and installations across domestic and commercial properties. The role offers a stable, permanent contract with a clear focus on safety, customer service and work‑life balance.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance, fault‑finding and repairs on electrical and mechanical systems, including boiler controls, pumps, communal lighting, hot‑water and HVAC units.
• Perform rewiring, testing and inspections to ensure compliance with current regulations.
• Diagnose issues quickly, manage materials and record work accurately in line with health and safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring homes are safe and fit for purpose.

Required profile

• Experience with 18th Edition wiring regulations or equivalent.
• City & Guilds Electrical Test and Inspection Certificate.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent electrical qualification (AM2 preferred).
• Full, clean driving licence and ability to travel to multiple sites.
• Commitment to company values and a proactive, flexible attitude.

Required skills

• 18th Edition wiring regulations knowledge.
• City & Guilds Electrical Test and Inspection certification.
• NVQ Level 3 electrical qualification.
• AM2 qualification (preferred).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
