Engineering Supervisor – Mobile Working Lead

About the role

We are seeking an experienced electrical professional to take on a leadership role as a Mobile Working Supervisor. In this field‑based position you will lead a team of mobile engineers across multiple sites, ensuring safety, compliance and high‑quality maintenance delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support mobile engineers across multiple locations.
• Deliver and oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across all trades.
• Conduct Toolbox Talks, safety briefings and site inspections.
• Ensure compliance with RAMS, permits and safe systems of work.
• Plan, schedule and quality‑check maintenance tasks.
• Respond to reactive issues with a “first‑time fix” mindset.
• Support testing and inspection activities (EICRs, remedials).
• Monitor contractor performance and SLA adherence.
• Maintain accurate records and compliance documentation.

Required profile

• Strong electrical background (NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition or equivalent).
• Solid knowledge of Health & Safety regulations.
• Experience with audits, inspections and Toolbox Talks.
• Skilled in managing PPM schedules and reactive workloads.
• Testing & inspection experience (2391 desirable).
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Proactive, hands‑on and solutions‑focused mindset.
