Enhanced DBS Cleaner – Temporary (Education Settings)

About the role

We are seeking reliable Enhanced DBS Cleaners to join our team on a temporary, seasonal basis within educational environments across Chelmsford. The role involves maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming spaces for students, staff, and visitors in schools and student accommodation.

Key responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets and communal areas.
• Vacuum, mop, dust and sanitise surfaces to high standards.
• Empty bins and replenish consumable supplies.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
• Secure areas after cleaning duties where required.

Required profile

• Valid Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to undergo a DBS check).
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including after‑school hours (3:30‑5:30 pm) or daytime.
• Good understanding of health and safety practices.

Required skills

• Enhanced DBS clearance.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures.
