About the role
Pearson is seeking a qualified examiner to mark GCSE Citizenship Studies (2016 Specification) scripts. The role is performed remotely, using the ePEN online marking system, and runs from May to July.
Key responsibilities
- Mark GCSE Citizenship Studies scripts in line with the official mark scheme, primarily via the ePEN platform.
- Submit sample scripts to the Team Leader at designated times.
- Adhere to marking milestones and meet all deadlines.
- Complete required administrative tasks accurately and on schedule.
Required profile
- At least one academic year of teaching experience within the last eight years, in the relevant subject.
- Qualified teacher status and a degree or equivalent qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge of the 2016 GCSE Citizenship Studies specification.
Required skills
- Proficiency with the ePEN marking platform.
