Experienced Pharmacist – Responsible Pharmacist (Part‑time, Fixed‑term)

About the role

Phlo is seeking an experienced pharmacist to join its team on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. Working part‑time (average 20 hours per week) across Monday to Wednesday, you will act as the Responsible Pharmacist, ensuring safe and compliant pharmacy operations.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the Responsible Pharmacist, guaranteeing all activities meet professional, legal and company standards.
• Support day‑to‑day pharmacy operations, leading by example and promoting efficiency.
• Partner with Governance and Operations teams to maintain safe, compliant processes.
• Collaborate with Patient Care and external partners to deliver flexible, patient‑focused services.
• Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to uphold patient safety and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain accurate procedures, records and logs in line with SOP requirements.

Required profile

• Current GPhC registration as a Pharmacist.
• Previous experience in an online or distance‑selling pharmacy environment (desirable).
• Strong understanding of pharmacy governance, SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work independently and make professional decisions in a Responsible Pharmacist capacity.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
