About the role
Teaching Personnel is partnering with a range of welcoming primary schools in Leyland and the surrounding North West England area to place qualified EYFS teachers in nursery and reception classes. These roles are temporary, with the possibility of becoming permanent, and are ideal for educators who thrive in early‑years environments and want to start as early as September.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging EYFS lessons that align with the national curriculum.
- Support children’s development through play‑based learning and phonics activities.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Monitor pupil progress and provide targeted support at key developmental stages.
Required profile
- Qualified Nursery or Reception teacher with experience in early years settings.
- Strong knowledge of phonics and EYFS curriculum.
- Passionate about early childhood development and inclusive education.
