Factory Operative

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Sanding, rubbing and masking painted products.
• Preparing stencils and jigs for production processes.
• Applying markings to products using approved methods.
• Using a range of hand tools safely and effectively.
• Following quality standards, procedures and work instructions.
• Maintaining high health and safety standards at all times.
• Carrying out general housekeeping duties within production and site areas.
• Supporting general factory and production activities as required.
• Meeting production schedules and output targets.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across departments.

Required profile

• Reliability and a strong work ethic.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work to established procedures.
• Physical fitness suitable for a manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production setting is advantageous.
