Finance Manager – Energy Platform Revenue Accounting

About the role

Equifind is seeking a Finance Manager to support a fast‑growing energy platform. The role focuses on revenue accounting, settlements, reconciliations, forecasting and reporting across a expanding portfolio of power‑market assets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end revenue processes, including journal postings, accrued income calculations and balance‑sheet ownership.
• Ensure accurate accounting and reporting of all revenue streams such as optimisation, ancillary services, capacity‑market revenues and floor agreements.
• Partner with the Commercial team to analyse performance against budget and explain key revenue drivers.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and long‑range planning for revenue streams.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Experience in power markets, battery energy storage (BESS), energy trading or optimisation environments.
• Strong understanding of revenue accounting, accruals, reconciliations and balance‑sheet management.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive and comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
