Financial Analyst – Collections & Reconciliations

About the role

Gallagher is seeking a Financial Analyst focused on collections and reconciliations within its Aerospace/Aviation portfolio. You will support the finance team by investigating cash allocations, chasing payments and ensuring accurate client statements.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate unallocated cash and work closely with brokers and clients to resolve discrepancies.
• Chase outstanding payments, manage high‑volume queries and provide timely collections.
• Prepare and comment on aged debt reports, escalating issues when required.
• Perform root‑cause analysis to improve processes and enhance client satisfaction.
• Reconcile client statements in line with Gallagher policies and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Experience in purchase ledger, cash allocations or accounts receivable within a large or complex organisation.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Advanced use of VLOOKUP and other Excel functions for large data sets.
