Financial Analyst – Collections & Reconciliations

About the role
Gallagher is seeking a Financial Analyst focused on collections and reconciliations within its Aerospace/Aviation portfolio. You will support the finance team by investigating cash allocations, chasing payments and ensuring accurate client statements.
Key responsibilities
- Investigate unallocated cash and work closely with brokers and clients to resolve discrepancies.
- Chase outstanding payments, manage high‑volume queries and provide timely collections.
- Prepare and comment on aged debt reports, escalating issues when required.
- Perform root‑cause analysis to improve processes and enhance client satisfaction.
- Reconcile client statements in line with Gallagher policies and regulatory requirements.
Required profile
- Experience in purchase ledger, cash allocations or accounts receivable within a large or complex organisation.
- Strong problem‑solving ability and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
Required skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Advanced use of VLOOKUP and other Excel functions for large data sets.
