Financial Crime Manager – London (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Crime or Sanctions specialist to step into a management position within a growing London market insurer. Reporting to the Head of Compliance, you will own the Financial Crime framework and act as Deputy Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) in a hybrid working environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Financial Crime framework covering AML, Sanctions, Fraud, and Bribery & Corruption.
• Own the sanctions programme, including screening, investigations and advisory work.
• Act as Deputy MLRO, supporting SAR filings and meeting regulatory obligations.
• Deliver financial crime risk assessments, policies and controls.
• Provide trusted advice to business stakeholders and produce management information for senior leadership.

Required profile

• Proven Financial Crime and Sanctions experience within the London Insurance Market.
• Strong knowledge of UK Financial Crime legislation and FCA expectations.
• Experience supporting an MLRO or Deputy MLRO is advantageous.
• Relevant certifications such as ICA or ACAMS are desirable.
