Financial Planning & Reporting Analyst

About the role

Carnival UK is seeking a Financial Planning and Reporting Analyst to join the Reporting & Analytics team. The role will support finance and broader business functions by delivering accurate, timely, and insightful reporting, analysis, and forecasting.

Key responsibilities

• Review consolidated financial results and forecasts for accuracy, providing commentary on performance drivers.
• Design, build and maintain performance‑management reports, ensuring governance and compliance.
• Develop and evolve strategic financial models and driver‑based scenario analytics.
• Provide ad‑hoc consolidated analysis and insights to support business decision‑making.
• Govern data and reports used for management performance reporting, advising wider functions on analytics capabilities.

Required profile

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Proven experience in a management reporting or FP&A function.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to communicate complex analysis clearly.
• Self‑motivated, able to work unsupervised and meet tight deadlines.
• Relevant IT competency and proficiency in advanced Excel.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Experience with finance systems, preferably Oracle EPM.
