Food and Beverage Multi-skilled Team Member

About the role

Join the dynamic Food & Beverage team at Ibis Birmingham New Street, where you will work across the kitchen, restaurant, bar and conference areas. The role is flexible, with shifts varying each week, and requires the ability to switch between cooking, dishwashing, serving and event setup.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present menu items while respecting cost margins.
• Maintain stock rotation, control waste and follow stock‑control procedures.
• Assist apprentices in food preparation and production.
• Keep work areas clean, tidy and equipment well‑maintained.
• Take orders via the POS system, repeat them for accuracy and deliver meals promptly.
• Set up and rearrange conference rooms for events.
• Report any equipment or safety issues to management.

Required profile

• Flexible availability to work any shift within the week.
• Ability to multitask across kitchen, bar, restaurant and conference environments.
• Commitment to health, safety and hygiene standards.
• Willingness to collaborate with team members and support apprentices.
