Fork Lift Driver – Construction Site

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Fork Lift Driver to support our construction sites across the UK. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will be responsible for the safe delivery and distribution of materials in line with the construction programme.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate regularly with the Site Manager to stay updated on programme changes.
• Check deliveries for quality and quantity, recording any defects.
• Store and label materials correctly and manage waste loading.
• Inspect the forklift daily, record weekly inspections, and perform routine maintenance.
• Ensure safe working practices and report any issues immediately.
• Assist with labouring duties when required.

Required profile

• Ability to work unsupervised and use initiative.
• Previous experience on large domestic volume house‑building sites.
• Valid FLT driver licence and full UK driving licence.
• Current CSCS or partner scheme card.
• Strong health and safety awareness.
