FP&A Manager - Gross Margin & Operations

About the role

The FP&A Manager for Gross Margin & Operations will act as the primary finance business partner for Operations, Supply Chain, and FP&A teams. You will own the full financial lifecycle of products—from development and standard costing through production, logistics, and margin analysis—delivering data‑driven insights to improve global supply‑chain efficiency and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual financial planning cycles for Global Operations, providing variance analysis of production costs, freight and departmental expenses.
• Maintain and revalue global product cost standards, analyze cost variances and forecast gross margin.
• Oversee inventory financial health, conduct quarterly excess & obsolete risk analysis and manage provisions.
• Serve as finance lead in the monthly Sales & Operations Planning process, aligning demand, capacity and financial targets.
• Prepare executive‑level financial presentations for senior leadership and ad‑hoc strategic requests.
• Determine costs for new product introductions and evaluate against brand strategy and margin targets.
• Provide cross‑channel profitability insights across customers, doors, categories and commercial lines.
• Build and refine ROI models for supply‑chain automation, 3PL shifts and sampling programs.
• Manage month‑end close for Operations & Inventory accounts, ensuring accurate journal entries and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Coordinate cash‑flow planning with Accounting and support internal/external audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or business; Master, MBA or CPA preferred.
• 5–7 years of progressive FP&A experience, with at least 2 years focused on Operations, Supply Chain or Gross Margin finance.
• Background in consumer goods, beauty, retail or fashion industries.
