Policyholder Tax Administrator – Finance & Tax Operations

About the role

We are looking for a Policyholder Tax Administrator to join our Finance and Tax Operations team at Atos Group in Edinburgh. The role focuses on operational tax compliance for pension and bond products, working closely with HMRC and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily tax data submissions to third parties and HMRC.
• Sample and review work processed within Customer Services to ensure HMRC compliance.
• Perform reconciliations for tax payable, agree tax liabilities and facilitate tax payments to HMRC.
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of returns for pension and bond products.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with stakeholders across Customer Service and other business units.
• Plan and manage individual workload effectively.
• Build and maintain technical knowledge of policyholder operational taxes.
• Provide technical support, analysis and guidance to other areas on policyholder tax operations.

• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and collaborate as a team member.
• Experience analysing large volumes of information.
• Understanding of pension products, bond investments and related tax aspects.
• Experience in the Life & Pensions industry.
• Desirable: studying towards a tax qualification (ATT/CTA) or equivalent experience.
• Essential: BPSS eligibility – continuous UK residence and work for the past 3 years.
