Freelance Site Supervisor – Civil Engineering Projects

About the role

We are seeking experienced freelance Site Supervisors and General Foremen to support a variety of civil engineering projects across London and the Home Counties. You will work directly on site, overseeing daily operations and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage labour, plant, and subcontractors on site.
• Maintain health and safety standards and ensure site compliance.
• Coordinate sequencing, programme delivery, and overall site operations.
• Liaise confidently with Site Managers, Engineers, and commercial teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or General Foreman on UK civil engineering projects.
• Strong understanding of site operations, sequencing, and programme delivery.
• Ability to manage labour, plant, and subcontractors effectively.
• Experience maintaining health & safety standards.
• SSSTS or SMSTS certification (essential).
• Valid CSCS card and First Aid certification (desirable).
