About the role

LanguageLine Solutions is seeking freelance Swahili telephone interpreters to work remotely from the UK. You will provide accurate, impartial and confidential interpretation between English and Swahili for a variety of public‑sector clients.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver accurate, impartial, and confidential telephone interpretation between English and Swahili for clients in healthcare, local government and public services.
• Manage your own schedule and accept assignments that fit your availability.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional interpreting standards.

Required profile

• Fluent in Swahili and English.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Access to a smartphone and reliable home Wi‑Fi.
• Willingness to undergo recruitment, onboarding and an Enhanced DBS check.
