Full‑time Primary School Teacher (EYFS/KS1)

About the role

Join a caring, close‑knit team at Brede Primary School, a small village school in East Sussex. We are looking for a dedicated teacher to support children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Key Stage 1 (KS1) from September 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons for EYFS and KS1 pupils.
• Adapt learning activities to meet the diverse needs of all students, including those with additional needs.
• Promote a nurturing environment that supports children’s social and emotional wellbeing.
• Collaborate with colleagues and families to build strong relationships and support student progress.
• Contribute to the school’s ethos and community activities.

Required profile

• Experience teaching in EYFS (suitable for early‑career teachers and more experienced staff).
• Hard‑working, conscientious team player with enthusiasm, resilience and a good sense of humour.
• Excellent subject knowledge and a creative, reflective approach to teaching.
• Ability to adapt learning to meet the needs of all pupils.
• Emotionally intelligent, nurturing attitude towards children’s wellbeing.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with pupils, colleagues and families.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
