About the role
Join a caring, close‑knit team at Brede Primary School, a small village school in East Sussex. We are looking for a dedicated teacher to support children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Key Stage 1 (KS1) from September 2026.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons for EYFS and KS1 pupils.
- Adapt learning activities to meet the diverse needs of all students, including those with additional needs.
- Promote a nurturing environment that supports children’s social and emotional wellbeing.
- Collaborate with colleagues and families to build strong relationships and support student progress.
- Contribute to the school’s ethos and community activities.
Required profile
- Experience teaching in EYFS (suitable for early‑career teachers and more experienced staff).
- Hard‑working, conscientious team player with enthusiasm, resilience and a good sense of humour.
- Excellent subject knowledge and a creative, reflective approach to teaching.
- Ability to adapt learning to meet the needs of all pupils.
- Emotionally intelligent, nurturing attitude towards children’s wellbeing.
- Strong relationship‑building skills with pupils, colleagues and families.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
