GP Partner / Salaried GP

About the role

Teviot Medical Practice is seeking a qualified General Practitioner to join a friendly, supportive team in Hawick, Scottish Borders. The role can be taken as a partnership position or a salaried post, offering flexibility for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver 6‑8 clinical sessions per week, typically 24 x 15‑minute appointments per day.
• Provide high‑quality primary care to a registered population of over 11,900 patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues including ANPs, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, FCP and CTAC teams.
• Utilise the on‑site community hospital for investigations and referrals.
• Maintain minimal house‑visit duties and no mandatory out‑of‑hours commitments (optional local sessions available).

Required profile

• Fully registered General Practitioner with the right to practice in the UK.
• Experience in delivering primary‑care services in a practice setting.
• Willingness to work either as a partner or in a salaried capacity.
• Commitment to a collaborative, patient‑centred approach.
