Graduate Wing Structures Engineer – Broughton

About the role

Airbus is looking for a recent graduate to join the Wing Plant Engineering Team at the Broughton site. You will be part of a two‑year Global Graduate development journey, gaining hands‑on experience in wing design, analysis and production support while developing leadership and technical skills.

Key responsibilities

• Represent engineering in the plant, acting as the single voice to production and design liaison.
• Manage engineering deliverables such as drawing releases, design query notes and non‑conformance answers.
• Focus engineering activities to add value to design changes and drive disruptive improvements.
• Represent the plant within the wider engineering organisation, ensuring production needs are heard.
• Deliver recurring cost‑reduction initiatives and support modification implementation across interfaces.

Required profile

• Degree (2:1 or higher) in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering, recent graduate or first‑professional experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English.
• Desire to work collaboratively and drive future innovation.
• Self‑awareness and motivation to steer personal development.
• Natural curiosity, excitement for aerospace and the civil aircraft market.
• Sensitivity to client needs and ability to build good relationships.
