Group Financial Controller

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious, hands‑on Group Financial Controller to own our core finance function and support rapid international growth. You will partner closely with the VP of Finance, the leadership team, and department heads to build robust controls, improve insight, and shape a modern SaaS finance operation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day finance operations, including monthly, quarterly and annual close processes.
• Prepare consolidated group management accounts, board reporting packs and investor/lender reports.
• Ensure accurate SaaS revenue recognition and compliance with IFRS and local tax requirements.
• Oversee statutory reporting, audits, VAT, corporation tax, R&D tax credits and multi‑entity consolidation.
• Maintain and continuously improve financial controls, policies and cash‑flow reporting.
• Drive system and process improvements, automation and standardisation across entities.
• Collaborate with RevOps and commercial teams on contract management and revenue processes.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification.
• Significant experience as a Financial Controller or senior finance leader in SaaS, technology or high‑growth startup environments.
• Strong technical accounting expertise, especially SaaS revenue recognition and group consolidation.
• Proven track record managing audits and multi‑entity structures.
• Strategic mindset combined with a willingness to work hands‑on.
• Excellent communication and business partnering skills.
