Financial Data Analyst – Remote Contract

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Financial Data Analyst to work remotely on a contract basis. You will support our data science and product teams by ensuring financial datasets are accurately annotated, validated, and ready for analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret complex financial data to maintain high‑quality annotations.
• Utilize advanced spreadsheet techniques to organize, validate, and manipulate large datasets.
• Label, annotate, and categorize financial data with consistency and precision.
• Collaborate with data science and product teams to share financial insights.
• Review and validate financial documents for completeness and compliance with established guidelines.
• Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong experience in finance, financial analysis, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in data handling and reporting.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced proficiency with Google Sheets.
