Health and Safety Trainer

About the role

The Health and Safety Trainer will deliver classroom and online training to promote a safer working environment and strengthen the organisation's safety culture. You will also create new course material and refresh existing content as part of the Health and Safety Team.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deliver and evaluate health and safety training sessions for staff.
• Develop new training modules and update existing course material.
• Provide expert advice to support a proactive safety culture.
• Collaborate with the Health and Safety Team to align training with organisational policies.
• Maintain training records and report on learning outcomes.

Required profile

• Relevant qualifications or experience in health and safety training.
• Strong communication skills for both classroom and virtual environments.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to adapt training to diverse audiences.

Required skills

• Knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices.
• Experience with e‑learning platforms and classroom delivery.
