Healthcare Service Driver – Collect & Deliver Waste

About the role

The Healthcare Service Driver will follow a pre‑planned route each day, visiting healthcare and commercial sites to collect and safely handle waste, including sharps and pharmaceutical materials. The role is physically active, offers a stable 40‑hour week, and provides a company vehicle for business use.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and safely transport healthcare waste, including sharps and pharmaceuticals.
• Service and replace hygiene products on customer premises.
• Complete digital and paper‑based compliance documentation.
• Return to the depot daily to unload collected waste.
• Adhere to centrally planned routes to ensure efficiency, safety and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Full UK manual driving licence held for at least 12 months.
• Maximum six penalty points and no disqualifying endorsements in the last five years.
• Availability to work 6 am–6 pm, Monday to Friday (40 hours/week).
• Reliability, safety‑conscious attitude and strong attention to detail.
