About the role
Join Brakes in Brighton as an HGV Class 2 driver, delivering ambient, chilled and frozen food products across the local region. The role starts at 06:00 Monday‑Friday with a rotating Saturday shift, totalling 45 hours per week.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver products safely, on time and to the highest food‑hygiene standards.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and complete load plans.
- Build positive relationships with colleagues and customers.
- Adhere to all health, safety and food‑handling procedures.
- Operate the vehicle in accordance with CPC regulations.
Required profile
- Qualified Class 2 driver with a valid CPC card.
- Proactive approach and strong commitment to customer service.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow processes.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Flexibility to work a shift system, including occasional Saturdays.
