Housekeeper – Part‑time (22.5 hrs/week)

About the role

Werndale Hospital in Carmarthen is looking for a reliable Housekeeper to join the Hotel Services team on a part‑time basis. You will work a flexible shift pattern, including evenings and weekends, to keep patient, public and employee areas clean and welcoming.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning of patient rooms, public areas, and staff zones.
• Maintain a safe, pleasant environment for patients, visitors and colleagues.
• Replenish linen and consumables as required.
• Provide cleaning support across all departments, including theatre areas and other Circle Health Group sites when needed.
• Complete and submit daily task sheets for auditing.
• Adhere to mandatory training and health‑and‑safety standards.

Required profile

• Competency in literacy and numeracy.
• Good communication skills.
• GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English at grades A‑C (or functional skills level 2).
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using a PC and standard software systems.
