HR Advisor

About the role

Reed is looking for an experienced and proactive HR Advisor to join its Park Royal office on a full‑time, temporary basis. You will own a broad generalist HR function, supporting managers and employees throughout the employee lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional HR advice on policies, employment legislation and support managers with disciplinary, grievance, performance and absence matters.
• Lead investigations, document outcomes and manage appeals.
• Coordinate end‑to‑end recruitment, conduct right‑to‑work checks and oversee new‑starter inductions.
• Support annual performance reviews, promotion processes and maintain skills matrices.
• Maintain accurate employee records, produce HR reports and KPIs, and assist payroll with up‑to‑date information.
• Promote Health & Safety compliance, deliver inductions and coordinate related training.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR Advisor or generalist HR professional.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
• Ability to manage employee relations, recruitment and learning initiatives independently.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence to advise managers at all levels.
