HR Assistant (Part‑time)

About the role
We are looking for a part‑time HR Assistant to support the Human Resources team at Crowcon Detection Instruments Ltd. The role involves 20 hours per week, split over 4‑5 days, and reports directly to the Head of HR.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain employee records in Workday and ensure data accuracy.
- Assist with recruitment activities, including sourcing diverse candidates and coordinating interviews.
- Facilitate onboarding of new hires and act as a champion for company benefits.
- Support the Head of HR on employee relations cases, taking notes and preparing correspondence under guidance.
- Collaborate with the payroll team to transmit relevant employee data.
- Contribute to HR projects and continuously seek process improvements.
Required profile
- Previous experience in an HR role.
- Level 3 (or higher) qualification in Human Resources, or willingness to work towards one via apprenticeship or CIPD route.
- Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
- Resilient mindset with a desire to make a difference.
Required skills
- Workday (HRIS) proficiency.
