HR Manager – United Kingdom

About the role

Alcon is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead people‑related initiatives across the United Kingdom. You will partner with business leaders to design and execute HR strategies that support the company’s mission of helping people see brilliantly.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement people strategies aligned with Alcon’s mission and core principles.
• Partner with managers to deliver core HR services, ensuring optimal associate experience.
• Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence on talent attraction, hiring, development, and retention programs.
• Manage complex multi‑location HR projects and ensure timely execution of all people‑related processes.
• Coach business leaders on change management, talent management, and career development.
• Oversee employee/labor relations, legal compliance, and work with global ER on complex matters.

Required profile

• In‑depth knowledge of UK employment laws and regulations.
• Proven ability to partner with senior leaders and influence HR outcomes.
• Experience managing multi‑site HR projects and driving talent readiness.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
