Hybrid Clinical Pharmacist

About the role

Montu UK is seeking a Hybrid Clinical Pharmacist to join its multidisciplinary team in Winnersh. You will prescribe cannabis‑based medicines (CBMPs) for patients who have exhausted conventional treatments, helping to improve their quality of life.

Key responsibilities

• Clinically review patients and prescribe CBMPs as a last‑resort therapy.
• Manage a complex caseload of patients requiring ongoing monitoring.
• Support the dispensary team by answering clinical queries.
• Provide education to patients and staff about cannabis‑based therapies.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary clinical team.
• Maintain accurate patient records in line with GPhC standards.

Required profile

• GPhC‑registered pharmacist with a current Independent Prescriber qualification.
• Minimum two years of prescribing experience in a clinical setting.
• Strong commitment to patient outcomes and willingness to work in a fast‑moving, evolving environment.
• Interest in developing expertise in cannabis‑based medicines (training will be provided).
