Interim Director of Learning – Creative Industries

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Director of Learning / Programme Manager to provide operational and curriculum leadership across a Creative Industries provision on an interim basis. This hands‑on role combines senior leadership responsibilities with day‑to‑day curriculum management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Creative Industries curriculum provision.
• Provide operational leadership across the area.
• Manage curriculum performance, quality and improvement.
• Support and develop teaching and curriculum teams.
• Monitor learner outcomes, achievement and performance.
• Ensure effective curriculum planning and delivery.
• Work with senior leaders and curriculum teams on priorities and improvement.

Required profile

• Strong Further Education leadership or curriculum management experience.
• Background within Creative Industries (e.g., Creative Media, Digital Media, Performing Arts, Art & Design, Music).
• Experience managing curriculum teams and programmes.
• Strong understanding of FE quality assurance and improvement.
• Ability to step into an interim leadership position quickly and make an immediate impact.
