Interim Strategic HR Business Partner (9-12 month FTC)

About the role

A global charity based in London is seeking an Interim Strategic HR Business Partner for a 9‑12 month fixed‑term maternity cover. The role is hybrid, offering a blend of office and remote work.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic HR support to stakeholders and client groups.
• Assist with change management initiatives and restructures.
• Drive workforce planning and ensure the right skills are in the right roles.
• Conduct skills and capability audits across directorates to identify gaps and risks.
• Lead consultations and a reward project to implement performance‑related pay.
• Partner with the senior leadership team to influence and deliver people strategies.
• Act as a trusted advisor to executive colleagues on people initiatives.
• Develop succession plans, employee engagement programmes, and talent management processes.
• Lead complex employee relations casework and enhance overall organisational capability.
• Use data to inform decisions and foster a high‑performance culture.

Required profile

• Experience in strategic HR partnering, including change management and reward programmes.
• Proven ability to coach, advise and influence senior leaders.
• Open to working across sectors, with the ability to start at short notice.
