Investment Banking Analyst/Associate – Healthcare

About the role

Jefferies is expanding its London Healthcare Investment Banking team and is seeking an Analyst or Associate to support M&A, equity capital markets and financing transactions for healthcare clients across Europe and globally.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial models, including DCF, comparable company, precedent transaction and LBO analyses.
• Prepare pitch books, client presentations and transaction documentation.
• Support execution of M&A, equity and financing deals.
• Conduct in‑depth sector and company analysis within pharma, biotech, medtech and related subsectors.
• Coordinate due‑diligence processes and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor market trends and contribute ideas to senior bankers.

Required profile

• Analyst level: 1–3 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance or a related field.
• Associate level: 3–6+ years of experience, preferably with prior investment banking training and execution experience on M&A or capital markets transactions.
• Strong academic background and demonstrated interest in healthcare and life sciences.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams.
