Investor Relations Internship – Venture Capital

About the role

Earlybird is seeking a motivated Investor Relations Intern to support its fundraising team for a six‑month, full‑time placement. Working directly with the head of Investor Relations, you will gain hands‑on exposure to limited partner (LP) relationships, fundraising strategy and investor communications within a leading European venture capital firm.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare presentations, performance reports and fundraising updates for institutional investors.
• Conduct investor and market research to identify and analyse potential LPs across global markets.
• Assist with meetings and events by preparing materials and background briefs for roadshows, investor calls and roundtables.
• Maintain and structure internal databases and tracking tools for LP engagement.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a university degree (3rd‑year Bachelor or Master) with strong academic performance.
• Previous internship experience in consulting, banking or private‑equity environments.
• Fluent in English; German language skills are a strong plus.
• Detail‑oriented, self‑driven and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Advanced PowerPoint skills for creating client‑facing presentations.
• Proficient Excel for research, data structuring and basic modelling.
