IT Sourcing Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IT Sourcing Manager to lead complex sourcing initiatives for a global financial‑technology client. The role is a six‑month contract, hybrid working with two days a week in the office, and offers the opportunity to shape procurement strategy in a highly regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of IT sourcing projects, including renewals and new supplier engagements.
• Lead end‑to‑end sourcing activities: requirements definition, market engagement, commercial negotiation, contract award and transition.
• Negotiate contracts and service‑level agreements to deliver value, mitigate risk and meet business objectives.
• Analyse data from multiple sources to identify commercial, operational and risk impacts and provide clear recommendations.
• Maintain supplier relationships to ensure performance, value for money and contractual compliance.
• Support senior stakeholders with sourcing strategy, pipeline planning and workload prioritisation.
• Deliver outcomes within established procurement, governance and risk‑management frameworks.
• Identify and resolve sourcing and supplier issues using pragmatic solutions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of sourcing processes and propose enhanced ways of working.

Required profile

• Proven track record delivering complex sourcing initiatives within large, regulated organisations.
• Extensive experience managing end‑to‑end sourcing across multiple technology categories.
• Background in Financial Services, Banking, Insurance, FinTech or other heavily regulated sectors.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse data and influence senior stakeholders.
• Comfort operating in a highly governed environment and adhering to strict procurement policies.

• Competitive salary starting from £75,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
