About the role
As an IT Support Analyst at Kings Court Trust you will deliver day‑to‑day technical assistance to staff, ensuring hardware and software issues are resolved quickly and efficiently. You will act as the primary liaison with the managed service provider and support a range of system administration and cyber‑security tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Provide first‑line support for hardware and software problems, triage tickets and escalate to the managed service provider when required.
- Serve as the internal point of contact with the managed service provider, tracking tickets through to resolution.
- Perform system administration duties such as managing user accounts, permissions, device management, patching and basic server/cloud administration.
- Assist with technical implementation projects including new system roll‑outs, migrations and upgrades.
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation of processes, configurations and support procedures.
- Support cyber‑security hygiene activities and develop knowledge in this area over time.
Required profile
- 1–3 years experience in an IT support, help‑desk or junior systems administration role.
- Working knowledge of Windows environments and common business software.
- Familiarity with system administration tools such as Active Directory, Microsoft 365 admin and device‑management solutions.
- Comfortable liaising with third‑party suppliers or service providers.
- Clear communicator who can explain technical issues to non‑technical colleagues and is proactive, organised and eager to learn.
