IT Support Engineer

About the role

The IT Support Engineer will join Kobalt Music's global IT & Security team, providing both onsite support in the London office and remote assistance to employees across ten worldwide locations. You will help shape a continuously evolving support environment while contributing to system, service, and employee experience improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver day‑to‑day onsite and remote support to staff at all levels, including meeting‑room and event‑equipment assistance.
• Manage incidents and service requests via a ticketing system, maintain accurate asset records and reporting.
• Collaborate with the People team to handle IT aspects of employee onboarding and off‑boarding.
• Contribute to the employee and technical knowledge base.
• Assist with global technology projects and seek continuous improvements to systems, services, and support processes.
• Ensure a seamless and efficient technology experience for employees across Kobalt’s global offices.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of IT support experience using ITIL practices and ticketing systems.
• Customer‑focused, strong team player who can also work independently and take initiative.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot technical problems effectively.
• Solid understanding of security best practices.
• Passion for automation and process improvement.

Required skills

• Administration of Google Workspace.
• Experience with Okta identity management.
• Use of Slack for collaboration.
• Management of Microsoft Intune.
• Administration of Jamf in mixed Windows and Apple macOS environments.
• Familiarity with ITIL ticketing processes and asset inventory reporting.
