IT Support Specialist – Internal Customer Support

About the role

We are looking for an IT Support Specialist to provide first‑line technical assistance to internal users. You will ensure that all support requests are handled efficiently and contribute to the rollout of Windows 11 across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to user queries via phone, email and the service‑desk system, logging incidents and performing password resets.
• Install and configure operating systems, software applications and peripheral equipment such as printers.
• Assist with system upgrades, Windows 11 deployment, testing and rollout activities.
• Configure, audit and manage user permissions in Active Directory, DHCP, DNS and Group Policy.
• Replace and upgrade hardware components, transfer data and dispose of redundant equipment according to policy.
• Support general housekeeping tasks related to IT systems and documentation.

Required profile

• Degree‑level qualification or equivalent experience in Information Management and Technology.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Office, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS and Group Policy.
• Proven ability to deploy operating systems and support end‑users.
