Key Stage 1 Teacher – South Birmingham

About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in South Birmingham from September 2026. The role involves delivering high‑quality lessons, supporting pupils’ development and working closely with colleagues and parents. The school values a supportive atmosphere and encourages innovative teaching methods. You will have the chance to make a lasting impact on young learners.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with the National Curriculum for Key Stage 1.
- Create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
- Support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development.
- Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and attendance.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents and the wider school community.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (or as an early career teacher).
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Creative and positive approach to teaching and learning.
- Passion for helping children thrive and succeed.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
