About the role
Join a dynamic primary school environment supporting Year 6 pupils as they prepare for Key Stage 2 SATs. You will work closely with class teachers to deliver focused English and Maths interventions, helping children build confidence and close learning gaps.
Key responsibilities
- Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support for Year 6 pupils in English and Maths.
- Deliver structured booster sessions aimed at SATs preparation.
- Reinforce key curriculum objectives and monitor pupil progress.
- Maintain a positive, engaging classroom atmosphere that encourages independent learning.
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to uphold high expectations and teamwork.
Required profile
- Previous experience supporting pupils in a primary school setting, preferably Key Stage 2.
- Strong command of English and Maths and confidence in assisting SATs preparation.
- Proven ability to run small‑group interventions that raise attainment.
- Patient, proactive, and able to build motivating relationships with pupils.
- Team‑oriented with a commitment to every child’s success.
