Kitchen Staff – Pub Kitchen Team Member

About the role

Join a friendly, hard‑working team in a busy pub kitchen. You will help prepare and cook food, keep the kitchen running smoothly, and maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety and customer service. Flexible shift patterns are available, including mornings, evenings, weekends and late finishes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present food to the required specifications.
• Operate kitchen workstations such as grills, fryers and microwaves.
• Work collaboratively to meet time and quality targets.
• Follow food hygiene, allergen, health and safety standards.
• Clean as you go and perform full kitchen clean‑downs.
• Rotate stock and store food safely.
• Complete required induction, role‑specific and refresher training.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Fun, enthusiastic and passionate about working in a team.
• Good attitude, reliable and friendly.
• Calm under pressure and willing to learn.
• No prior experience required; under‑18s may receive a lower rate in line with national guidelines.

Required skills

• Operating grills.
• Operating fryers.
• Operating microwaves.
• Understanding of food hygiene standards.
