KS2 Teacher – Full-Time (Newton Heath)

About the role

This full‑time temporary position is based in a friendly, well‑established primary school in Newton Heath. The successful candidate will take ownership of a Key Stage 2 class, delivering engaging and structured lessons that motivate pupils and support their academic progress.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess a broad, balanced KS2 curriculum.
• Maintain full classroom responsibility, including marking and tracking pupil progress.
• Create a supportive, inclusive environment that promotes high expectations for behaviour and attainment.
• Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to raise overall attainment.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher (or strong early‑career teacher) with appropriate training for KS2.
• Ability to adapt teaching based on pupil progress data.
• Commitment to safeguarding and willingness to undergo enhanced DBS checks.
