Laundry Attendant

About the role

We are looking for an attentive Laundry Attendant to join the housekeeping team at a multi‑award‑winning hotel. The role involves handling all aspects of linen and textile care to support 5‑star guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, press and fold hotel linen and other textile items.
• Remove stains using the appropriate procedures.
• Track linen stock levels according to demand.
• Monitor and record maintenance and repairs of laundering equipment.
• Keep the laundry facility clean and organised at all times.
• Respond promptly to requests from the wider housekeeping team.

Required profile

• Strong organisational abilities and good interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends and additional hours during busy periods.
• Eligibility to live and work in the United Kingdom (proof of ID required).

Required skills

• Stain removal procedures.
• Operation and basic maintenance of commercial laundry equipment.
