Lead Clinical Pharmacist

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Clinical Pharmacist to join the pharmacy team at The Harley Street Clinic in London. The clinic is rated “Outstanding” by the CQC and provides specialist services in oncology, cardiac care and diagnostics. The role involves leading clinical pharmacy services across critical care, cardiology and complex surgery areas.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, develop and monitor high‑quality clinical pharmacy services across multiple specialist areas.
• Manage and support a team of clinical pharmacists caring for complex, high‑acuity patients.
• Drive service development, governance, audit activity and performance monitoring against KPIs.
• Lead quality‑improvement projects and contribute to departmental audits.
• Provide education, training and mentorship to pharmacy and technical staff.
• Step in for the Deputy Pharmacy Manager as required.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Clinical Pharmacy (or equivalent) with a postgraduate diploma.
• Current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and Independent Prescriber qualification.
• Specialist clinical experience in critical care and/or cardiology services.
• Proven experience leading and managing a team of pharmacists.
