Lead Engineer – Subsea Projects

About the role

Join Boskalis Subsea Services in Aberdeen as a Lead Engineer, acting as the technical focal point for subsea project delivery. You will ensure projects meet client specifications, provide tender support, and lead technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engineered and safe execution of tasks assigned by the Principal Project Engineer, Engineering Manager or Project Manager.
• Collaborate within project teams on operational and developmental subsea construction, inspection, repair and maintenance activities.
• Manage on‑shore preparations for designated work scopes and coordinate with offshore and fabrication sites.
• Travel to on‑shore, offshore and overseas locations to verify compliance with construction procedures and business processes.
• Develop optimized installation methodologies for proposals, ensuring all technical requirements are addressed.

Required profile

• Extensive experience working as a Lead Engineer in subsea or offshore energy environments.
• At least a bachelor’s degree in civil, structural, mechanical engineering or naval architecture.
• Willingness to travel internationally for on‑shore and offshore assignments.
