Lecturer – Business & Digital Transformation (Leeds)

About the role

We are seeking lecturers to deliver a new BSc (Hons) Business & Digital Transformation programme. The role requires flexibility to teach on weekdays, evenings and weekends. Note: this position does not offer visa sponsorship.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess student work, ensuring learning outcomes are met.
• Develop, update and improve course materials.
• Use a variety of teaching methods and materials.
• Participate in staff development activities, peer observations, meetings and administrative duties.
• Stay current with developments in your field and student support practices.
• Work towards objectives for student attendance, continuation, completion, satisfaction and progression.

Required profile

• Master's degree in a relevant subject (PhD desirable).
• Previous UK higher‑education lecturing experience.
• Extensive knowledge of at least two areas such as programming (Python), AI, digital transformation, data systems, etc.
• Experience supervising student work and providing feedback.
• Accurate reporting and organised student records.
• Ability to work under pressure, plan and prioritise workload.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Capability to work with diverse groups.
