Lecturer in Computing Science

About the role

Regent College London is looking for an experienced Lecturer in Computing Science to join its academic team across several London campuses. You will design, develop and deliver engaging face‑to‑face teaching for a range of computing modules while supporting student success.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, seminars and tutorials in line with curriculum standards.
• Develop and update teaching materials and maintain digital learning platforms.
• Set, assess and provide feedback on assignments and examinations.
• Provide academic and pastoral support to students, including those with learning‑support needs.
• Participate in quality‑assurance processes and module/programme evaluations.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
• Lead modules and coordinate with associate lecturers where applicable.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in a computing‑related discipline.
• Experience teaching in Higher Education with strong digital teaching capability.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of HE quality‑assurance and validation processes.
• Willingness to work towards HEA Fellowship.
• Desirable: PhD or equivalent industry experience and research or enterprise activity.
