Lecturer in Electrical Engineering

About the role

Regent College London is seeking an experienced Lecturer in Electrical Engineering to join its academic team across multiple campuses in London. The role involves face‑to‑face teaching, curriculum development and student support, starting in January 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, seminars and tutorials for electrical engineering modules.
• Develop and update teaching materials, including digital learning resources.
• Set, assess and provide feedback on assignments and examinations.
• Support students academically and pastorally, including those with learning support needs.
• Participate in quality assurance processes and module evaluations.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
• Lead modules and coordinate with associate lecturers where required.

Required profile

• Master's degree in an engineering‑related discipline.
• Proven experience teaching in higher education with strong digital teaching capability.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of higher‑education quality assurance and validation processes.
• Student‑focused, flexible approach and commitment to continuous improvement.
• Willingness to work towards HEA Fellowship if not already held.
